Life-Size Goliath Bible Figure

It's hard all of you who work the kids today. In this era, the flashy, computer generated graphics are what the kids of this generation and for the most part the last one have grown up with. No more does the simple one dimensional character do it for them. But.. this Goliath, his sheer size and the awww he commanded was inspiring. Even the parents went "Woah". This character provided a visual aide to the boys in the room that a picture or even a video rendering could not. We had a full full set of armor (not real)but still heavy. A sword taller than a seven yr. old. And we had the boys stand next to Goliath. They realized exactly the magnitude of what David had accomplished that day so many years ago. We were able to drive home, "If God is for you Who can stand against you?" This rendering of Goliath is Spectacular. Thank you so much for the opportunity to show this generation, the Bible has and always will Have the WOW factor. Great Job! The download was easy. The color of the character was vivid. It worked well! I only made the top 1/3 and my students had a great time using the image as a target to shoot their “stones” (small wads Of foil) at.

The recommendation to use painters tape temporarily on the front to help put the image together was helpful.

This is a great teaching tool! Really helps your kids see how big Goliath was compared to David. And in turn how big David's faith in God was! Took a little time to put together, but worth it!
